The K-File is the strongest of the hand files with less separation potential. K-Files can bypass obstructions with far greater ease. They are designed to provide a smooth tactile feel during instrumentation.
The Mani K File is a 18/08, SS 304 low carbon stainless steel instrument with extraordinarily sharp and mirror-like finished edges. Its high ductility owes to austenitic gamma-phase non-magnetic stainlesscrystal structure. Each of the Mani K-Files is electro-polished for facture resistance that makes for excellent working characteristics.
The original 18-8 hard-fiber stainless steel prevents corrosion after repeated cleaning and sterilization. High chromium content steel prevents the oxidation of the surface. Mani K-Files use thermoplastic Poly-Butylene Terephthalate (PBT) for its shank which is exceptionally chlorine resistant (Sodium Hypochlorite) and also UV Resistant (UV Chamber storage).
