MNATIS™ CT Blue is a heat treated martensitic NiTi rotary endodontic file.
MANTIS™ CT Blue comes in Constant Taper (CT) profiles. Besides the glide-path of 19/02, 15/03, 18/.03 & flaring file, MANTIS™ CT comes in .04/.06 tapered files in Ø ISO 15, 20, 25 & 30. MANTIS CT files can be used in either of Crown-down/Step-back or any customized sequence combining both VT and CT files to the user's convenience and conviction.
MANTIS™ files goes through crystallographic phase transition from austenite to martensite at room temperature to provide flexibility & resistance to separation. Upon approaching the transition temperature the NiTi becomes austenite to regain shape. Being martensitic at room temperature, MANTIS ™ files can be pre-bent to gain smooth access to extremely curved canal.
Controlled memory ensures the files follow the canal anatomy that reduces the risk of ledging. Heat treated MANTIS™ files are free from the residual stress produced during grinding of NiTi wires. The file has a thin core for increased flexibility, precise shaping & better debris removal with minimum files and steps. Reliable glide path preparation is possible with constant Helical-angle.
